UFC Tonight Moves to Fox Sports 1 on Sept. 11

Chael Sonnen and Kenny Florian UFC Tonight-478x270UFC Tonight will be moving from its current home on Fox Sports 2 (formerly Fuel TV) to its more prominent sibling, Fox Sports 1, on Sept. 11.

UFC Tonight host Kenny Florian announced the move on Tuesday’s show.

The UFC’s official weekly magazine and news show, UFC Tonight began its run in January 2012, the same time the UFC began its broadcasting partnership with Fox Sports.

The show has gone through a few cast changes, but Florian has been a constant from the beginning. He currently co-hosts UFC Tonight with Chael Sonnen.

The move to Fox Sports 1 will put UFC Tonight in front of a much larger audience than it has on Fox Sports 2. Both channels launched on Aug. 17, but Fox Sports 1 is offered in approximately 90 million homes, while Fox Sports 2’s current availability is about 37 million homes.

UFC Tonight will be a part of Fox Sports 1’s weekly UFC block of programming every Wednesday night.
