UFC Fight Night 82: Misha Cirkunov vs. Alex Nicholson video highlights

LAS VEGAS – Alex Nicholson’s Friday was a helluva lot better than his Saturday.

On Friday, at the weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 82, Nicholson (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) proposed to his girlfriend before making weight for his fight against Misha Cirkunov (11-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC). On Saturday in their fight, Cirkunov latched onto a rear-naked choke, turned it into a face crank, and cracked Nicholson’s jaw.

The pressure Cirkunov put on Nicholson’s jaw, which had been broken before, was so tight that it could be heard cracking on the FOX Sports 1 broadcast, and Nicholson had to tap when he knew it could only get worse from there.
