Drug tests from UFC Fight Night 42 have come back negative for performance-enhancers and drugs of abuse.
UFC officials today told MMAjunkie that all tests issued at the June 7 card in Albuquerque, N.M., came back without any issues.
UFC Fight Night 42 took place at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque. The main card aired on FOX Sports 1 after prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
The event was overseen by the New Mexico Athletic Commission.
In the main event, former lightweight champion Benson Henderson submitted Rustam Khabilov in the fourth round. In the co-headliner, hometown fan favorite Diego Sanchez took a controversial split decision from Ross Pearson in a fight that all major media members scored for Pearson.
In the week after the card, Pearson teammate Dean Amasinger claimed no fighters from New Mexico, or any fighters from the Jackson-Winkeljohn camp in Albuquerque, were drug tested. But coach Greg Jackson refuted that claim, saying Khabilov was tested.
UFC officials could not immediately confirm which fighters, or how many, were tested at the event. Multiple calls and emails from MMAjunkie to the New Mexico commission seeking information on the event’s drug testing have gone unreturned in the days following the event.
The event was the UFC’s first in Albuquerque.
