UFC Fight For The Troops 2 Weigh-in Results: Dunham vs. Guillard Set

Melvin Guillard and Evan Dunham, two of the brightest rising stars in the UFC’s lightweight division, are all set to square off in the main event of Saturday night’s UFC Fight For The Troops 2 in Fort Hood, Texas.

Guillard, Dunham, and the rest of the fight card weighed in Friday afternoon on the military base.

Dunham enters the fight 11-1 with a big chip on his shoulder. He lost a highly controversial decision to Sean Sherk at UFC 119 in Indianapolis. Even UFC president Dana White was left saying, in his mind, Dunham was still undefeated heading into this weekend’s event.

Guillard, at 26-8-2, has much more experience than Dunham, and lightening-quick hands. He hasn’t received quite the Top 10 talk that Dunham has recently, but Guillard has won three-straight fights since signing on with Greg Jackson’s camp in Albuquerque, N.M. He has also won six of his last seven fights, losing only to Nate Diaz during that span.

UFC Fight For The Troops 2 is a special “thank you” to U.S. troops event, that is also being used to raise money for American military personnel via the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and for Canadian military members with the Canadian Hero Fund.
