Since the early days when the sport was anything but a mainstream endeavor, the MMA industry has thrived and survived through various websites, forums and, perhaps most importantly, social-media platforms.
Fighters interact with fans, each other and many more through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which helps outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of the athletes.
Following Saturday’s UFC 205 in New York City several of the winning and losing fighters, along with their coaches, training partners or family members, took to social media to react to the event or share a message with supporters.

The defeated
Definitely It wasn't the week I was expecting, but I learned a lot. And I know all this will make me a better man, husband, father and Fighter. Make no mistakes, I will be back way better then before! I want to thank God for blessing me with a very fulfilling and exciting life. Thanks to my beautiful wife that gave me the best gift a man can ask. Thanks all my coaches my sponsors and to all my loyal fans. It's been a while since my last fight and I felt a little rusty, specially on a new weight class. Time to stay active and improve on all areas. Going to spend some much need it time with my beautiful family and get right back at it. 2017 will be my best year!!! Much love everyone, and for all the haters…. much love also!!! #wontstopcantstop #buildforthis ????????????????
