The rematch was a strong draw, and the fight lived up to the hype.

Diaz finished McGregor in two rounds in their first fight, but the rematch went all five rounds. It was a back and forth battle, but at the end of the night, the judges scored it as a majority decision in McGregor’s favor.

Will there be a trilogy fight? It certainly looks like the numbers add up to support a third bout, but McGregor still holds the featherweight championship, so it’s unclear how soon another bout between the two might take place.
