Jon Jones again made headlines for all the wrong reasons when news broke on Sunday about the UFC champ’s alleged involvement in a hit-and-run accident that left a pregnant woman with a broken arm.

Jones (21-1 MMA, 15-1 UFC) turned himself in to police on Monday night and was released from an Albuquerque, N.M., jail hours later after he posted $2,500 bail.

The 27-year-old pound-for-pound kingpin hasn’t commented on the situation, and UFC official have yet to reveal the status of his scheduled UFC 187 title bout with Anthony Johnson (19-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC), which takes place May 23 and airs on pay-per-view from Las Vegas.

The blowback to Jones’ latest personal woes ranged from mocking and criticizing to fear and concern for his wellbeing. Check below for Twitter reactions to Jones’ alleged hit-and-run and the events that followed.
