Titan Fighting Championship on Tuesday announced that title bouts will take place on the promotion’s upcoming cards in August and September.

On Aug. 22, Ben Saunders will square off with Matt Riddle for the vacant Titan FC welterweight crown at the Crown Coliseum in Fayettevile, N.C, while Jason Brilz meets Vinny Magalhaes on Sept. 26 at Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas, for the organization’s inaugural middleweight strap. MMAFighting.com first reported the matchups. Both events will air on the CBS Sports Network.

A UFC and Bellator veteran, Saunders last competed in September, when he was knocked out by a Douglas Lima head kick in the second round at Bellator 100. After 13 professional appearances inside the Octagon, Riddle made his Titan FC debut in February, submitting Michael Kuiper with a second-round guillotine choke.

Brilz carries a four-fight winning streak into his matchup with Magalhaes, most recently taking a split verdict against Raphael Davis at Titan FC 28 on May 18. Magalhaes, meanwhile, exited the UFC following back-to-back losses to Phil Davis and Anthony Perosh.
