LAS VEGAS – UFC flyweight Demetrious Johnson defended his belt a ninth time, but “The Ultimate Fighter 24” winner Tim Elliott did not make it easy.
Johnson (25-2-1 MMA, 13-1-1 UFC) was forced to recover after Elliott (13-7-1 MMA, 2-5 UFC) started fast, using his wrestling to neutralize the challenger en route to a unanimous decision.
The flyweight title bout was the main event of today’s TUF 24 Finale event at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. It aired on FS1 following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
