Three fighters from this past week’s TUF 22 Finale event face medical suspensions that could stretch six months.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the event at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, issued the medical suspensions. Although every fighter faces a mandatory rest period of seven days, others are facing longer terms.

In the FOX Sports 1 televised headliner, Frankie Edgar crushed Chad Mendes in a highly anticipated featherweight showdown. At just the 2:28 mark of Round 1, Edgar landed a massive shot to the jaw of Mendes. A pair of follow-up shots later, the bout was all over.
