TUF 20 Finale reactions: Winning and losing fighters on social media

UFC President Dana White may not read the Internet, as he often says, but for a majority of the MMA community, the sport lives and breaths through websites, forums and, perhaps most importantly, social media.

Fighters interact with fans, each other and many more through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which helps outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of the athletes.

Following Saturday’s UFC event, The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale, at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, several of the winning and losing fighters, along with their coaches, training partners and family members, took to social media to react to the event or share a message with supporters.

Waking up as the UFC Champion!!!! I must say there is nothing like it! First and foremost I want to thank my coach @colinoyama for this win. He made me the fighter I am today, went through craziness to get me here, and believed in me from DAY 1! Thank you to @givoss the most amazing jiu jitsu/mma coach anyone could ask for. Seriously, this guy is unbelievable! Thanks to my main training partners/team Romie Adanza, Ian McCall, Victor Chen, Marie Choi, Rich(red), and everyone else from Team Oyama.
