Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has quickly become one of the most polarizing figures in mixed martial arts.
He rocketed into the title picture, defeating UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture for the title in only his fourth MMA fight. Lesnar was an NCAA Division I wrestling champion, a WWE Superstar, and even played a brief preseason stint in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings.
Following two successful defenses of the heavyweight belt, Lesnar was sent reeling in the first round by current champion Cain Velasquez.
Surprisingly, the next step for Lesnar is a stint as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter.”
TUF 13 kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday night with Lesnar heading his team opposite Junior Dos Santos. The two big men will square off in the Octagon at UFC 131 on June 11 in Vancouver.
Ramping up for TUF 13, Lesnar is doing the promotional rounds, and Monday night will be a guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” The late night talk show airs 12:35 a.m. ET/PT on NBC.
