Super Fight League Announces Trio of New Fights Including Duffee vs. Grove Main Event

Todd Duffee UFC 114
India’s Super Fight League has announced a trio of fights for their second show on April 7 with a pair of former UFC heavyweights headlining the card.

Todd Duffee will make his return to action after missing all of 2011 with injuries. When Duffee comes back at Super Fight League, it will be his first appearance since a loss to current UFC contender Alistair Overeem at the New Year’s Even show in Japan to end 2010.

Facing Duffee in April will be former UFC and Bellator fighter Neil Grove who will also look to bounce back from back-to-back losses. Grove dropped fights to Mike Hayes and Thiago Santos in Bellator before moving on from the promotion.

Now Grove draws Duffee for the main event of the second Super Fight League card.

Also added to the second show for the upstart promotion in India is a bout between two more former UFC fighters as Gabe Ruediger faces Paul Kelly.

Ruediger will be looking to erase a three fight losing streak when he returns in April. Ruediger fought just last weekend at BAMMA in California where he lost by TKO.

Also added to the card will be Bellator middleweight contender Alexander Shlemenko against Japanese star Ikuhisa ‘Minowaman’ Minowa.
