Spike TV’s MMA Uncensored Live Continues Strong Ratings Into Week 6

Spike TV’s magazine style show MMA Uncensored Live has continued to post strong ratings into their sixth week on air.

According to industry sources, the 6th show that aired last week on March 29 pulled in an average of 490,000 viewers.

Last Thursday’s numbers were down slightly from the average the show has been pulling thus far at 501,000 viewers.

In contrast, UFC Tonight, which airs on Fuel TV has been averaging approximately 63,000 viewers through their first couple of months of production.

The numbers are far apart in terms of total viewers, but it also has to be noted that Spike TV is available in far more homes than the smaller Fuel TV, which is currently not available in many markets and under certain providers yet.

Spike TV’s audience reach is approximately 100 million homes while Fuel TV reaches around 36 million.

That said, Spike TV’s new flagship show featuring former Ultimate Fighter 1 cast member Nate Quarry has started off on the right foot thus far with an 11pm ET time slot on Thursday nights.

The last episode that aired on March 29 featured several interviews including former Ultimate Fighter coach Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller.
