Next week’s UFC Fight Night 85 has undergone a bit of a facelift, as a handful of changes were announced late Friday night by promotion officials.
First, injury has forced flyweight Justin Scoggins to withdraw from the contest, and a planned fight with Ben Nguyen has been scrapped.
Additionally, lightweight Abel Trujillo encountered issues securing a visa and has been pulled from a planned matchup with Ross Pearson. UFC officials have since elected to match Pearson with Canadian Chad Laprise, instead, leaving Laprise’s opponent, Alan Patrick, without a fight for the time being.
UFC officials are currently looking to fill that void.
With the changes to the card, UFC Fight Night 85 now includes:
MAIN CARD (FOX Sports 1)
PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX Sports 1)
PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC Fight Pass)
