Light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier headlines UFC 206 in Toronto vs. Anthony Johnson

The UFC’s return to Toronto in December has its headliner – and it’s a highly anticipated title fight rematch.

In the UFC 206 main event, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will put his belt on the line against Anthony Johnson, the man he beat in 2015 to win the then-vacant title. Cormier announced the news tonight as part of “UFC Tonight” on FS1.

UFC 206 takes place Dec. 10 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In addition, five other fights have been announced for the card: Poliana Botelho vs. Valerie Letourneau in a women’s strawweight bout; John Moraga vs. Zach Makovsky at flyweight; and a trio of lightweight fights: Lando Vannata vs. John Makdessi, Drew Dober vs. Olivier Aubin-Mercier, and Rustam Khabilov vs. Jason Saggo.
