Jon ‘Bones’ Jones Opens as -305 Favorite Over Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson in Potential Title Fight

If the next step in the light heavyweight title picture plays out the way most think it will, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones will open as a big favorite over potential challenger Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson.

Following Jackson’s win over Matt Hamill in the main event of UFC 130, most believe that the former 205lb champion will be the next man to challenge Jones for the belt.

If the fight happens, Jones opens as a -305 favorite with Jackson as a +225 underdog.

The odds come courtesy of Nick Kalikas of BetOnFighting.com.

Interesting to note, when Jones was rumored to face former teammate Rashad Evans, the champion opened as a huge -525 favorite. The odds are much closer in a potential fight with Jackson than they would have been with Evans.

UFC President Dana White said following the fights if Rampage is healthy, he will get the next shot at Jones later this year.
