Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem at UFC 167. Does anyone care?

A heavyweight bout between former champ Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem has been added to November 16^th’s UFC 167 fight card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but with the recent lack of success of both fighters, does anyone really care?

UFC 167 already had plenty of star power as welterweight kingpin Georges St. Pierre will defend his title strap against top challenger Johny Hendricks and Chael Sonnen will face Rashad Evans at light heavyweight, so does Mir vs. Overeem really add much to the card?

Mir (16-8) has dropped three in a row to Josh Barnett, Daniel Cormier, and Junior Dos Santos, while Overeem (36-13) has seen defeat in his last two outings to Travis Browne and Bigfoot Silva. Both sluggers are big names who are dangerously close to falling out of the top 10 heavyweight mix and the only real attraction to this fight is that the loser may very well receive his walking papers from the cut-happy UFC.
