Fox Sports Ups the UFC Ante with "Red, White and Fight Week" Record Programming | MMAWeekly.com

UFC175_477887_SecondaryEventFeatureFOX Sports is taking the go big or go home approach to the UFC’s International Fight Week in Las Vegas, which culminates in the UFC 175 pay-per-view, the TUF 19 Finale, and a UFC Fan Expo.

FOX Sports has branded its week-long coverage “Red, White and Fight Week” on FOX Sports 1.

FOX Sports will be broadcasting a record 16 hours of live UFC programming over UFC Fight Week from Friday to Sunday. There will be weigh-ins, prefight shows, prelims, and post-fight shows for UFC 175 and the TUF 19 Finale, in addition to the TUF Finale main card.

There will also be two UFC Tonight Specials, one on Friday night as a town hall-style meeting after the UFC 175 weigh-ins, and one on Sunday early afternoon from the UFC Fan Expo. Both of those will be one-and-a-half hours long, hosted by Jay Glazer, with the UFC Tonight team of Kenny Florian, Chael Sonnen, Karyn Bryant, and Ariel Helwani contributing.

If that weren’t enough, Fox Sports will have Daniel Cormier, Brian Stann and Miesha Tate working as analysts for the pre- and post-fight shows, with Kenny Florian and Jon Anik calling the fights on Sunday night at the TUF 19 Finale.

This is the most amount of live UFC programming ever in one weekend on any network, and shows FOX Sports’ continued commitment to the UFC partnership.

While many have questioned the partnership, after two years together, FOX Sports and the UFC are taking things to an entirely new level with “Red, White and Fight Week.”
