Just over a week before his main event bout with Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor has inked a new sponsorship deal with Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition, a leading sports supplement company.
McGregor first announced the partnership on Twitter.
McGregor and Aldo will finally meet at UFC 194, which takes place Dec. 12 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
The two were originally set to square off at UFC 189, but an Aldo injury forced him out of the bout. McGregor (18-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC) defeated late-replacement Chad Mendes to capture the interim featherweight championship and now has the chance to capture the full title when he meets Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC).
McGregor has been doing some hefty spending as of late, purchasing a pair of expensive cars in October, a BMW i8 and a Mercedes S-Class.
Landing a big sponsorship with BSN will only help the Irishman buy more flashy rides.
“Conor is the human embodiment of all that BSN stands for, both inside and outside of the Octagon,” VP of Global Marketing for BSN Kent Cunningham stated in a press release. “In Conor, we are witnessing an athlete who pushes himself and his sport past previous limits; BSN continues to do the same with sports nutrition.”
