Champ Tonya Evinger vs. Yana Kunitskaya, Champ Angela Hill vs. Kaline Medeiros headline Invicta FC 20

A pair of title fights headlines Invicta FC’s final live event of 2016.

Promotion officials today announced that Invicta FC 20 takes place Friday, Nov. 18, at Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. Featuring bantamweight champ Tonya Evinger vs. Yana Kunitskaya and strawweight champ Angela Hill vs. Kaline Medeiros, the entire event streams live on UFC Fight Pass.

“Triple Threat” Evinger (18-5), who is currently ranked No. 9 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA women’s bantamweight rankings, brings a nine-fight winning streak to the cage and now looks for her second successful defense of the bantamweight title. She meets “Foxy” Kunitskaya, a Russian promotional newcomer who boasts seven knockout wins in her nine career victories.

“Overkill” Hill (5-2) is now 3-0 since her release from the UFC and looks to defend the strawweight title for the first time. She meets Brazilian challenger “The Dark Angel” Medeiros, who carries in a five-fight winning streak, including a pair of wins under the Invicta FC banner.

Additional matchups include atomweights Herica Tiburcio (9-4) vs. Simona Soukupova (5-4-1), strawweights Amber Brown (6-2) vs. Ashley Yoder (4-1), bantamweights Jessica-Rose Clark (6-2) vs. Pam Sorenson (4-1), strawweights Lynn Alvarez (6-4) vs. J.J. Aldrich (3-1), bantamweights Stephanie Egger (2-0) vs. opponent still to be determined, as well as strawweights Miranda Maverick (0-0) vs. Samantha Diaz (0-0).
