Bellator 165 highlights: How close was this Michael Chandler vs. Benson Henderson title fight?

Did Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler deserve the win over challenger Benson Henderson in Saturday’s Bellator 165 headliner?

Check out the video highlights of Chandler (16-3 MMA, 13-3 BMMA) vs. Henderson (24-7 MMA, 1-2 BMMA), which aired on Spike from SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., above. You can also watch the full fight at Spike.com.

The headliner wasn’t the only one to end in a split decision, though. In the co-headliner, welterweight prospect Michael Page (12-0 MMA, 8-0 BMMA) earned a narrow win over Fernando Gonzalez (25-14 MMA, 5-1 BMMA) to barely hang on to his undefeated record.

Also on Bellator 165’s main card, lightweight Adam Piccolotti (9-0 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) continued his unbeaten run with a decision victory over Brandon Girtz (14-5 MMA, 6-3 BMMA), Keri-Anne Taylor-Melendez (1-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) made a successful pro debut with a 47-second victory over strawweight Sheila Padilla (2-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA), and Linton Vassell (17-5 MMA, 6-2 BMMA) cruised in a dominant decision victory over Francis Carmont’s (25-12 MMA, 3-2 BMMA).
