Bellator returned on Friday with its second event in less than a week and a long-awaited return to Texas.
In the main event, former featherweight and bantamweight champion Joe Warren (12-4 MMA, 10-3 BMMA) earned another 135-pound title shot with a unanimous decision win over L.C. Davis (23-7 MMA, 3-1 BMMA).
In the co-feature, Kendall Grove (22-15 MMA, 3-2 BMMA) stayed patient and finally knocked out Joey Beltran (16-12 MMA, 2-3 BMMA) in the third round. Plus, a bloody Emmanuel Sanchez (11-2 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) got back in the win against Henry Corrales (12-2 MMA, 0-2 BMMA) and, in the Spike-televised opener, Vinicius Queiroz (8-3 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) returned after nearly two years away and choked out John Teixeira (3-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA).
