Bellator 128 video highlights: Joe Warren takes title from Eduardo Dantas

Joe Warren put his name in the record books once again on Friday night.

Warren (12-3 MMA, 10-2 BMMA) became the first fighter in Bellator MMA history to win titles in two weight classes when he defeated Eduardo Dantas (16-4 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) to unify the bantamweight title. Warren previously was the featherweight champion before losing the title to Pat Curran in 2012.

Warren and Dantas went all five rounds in a close fight, but it was Warren who controlled things on the ground and took a trio of 48-47 scores over the Brazilian, who was a heavy 5-to-1 favorite in the fight.

Bellator 128 took place at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla. The event’s main card aired live on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.

They also include the co-headliner, which saw Michael Page (7-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) go the distance for the first time as he topped Nah-Shon Burrell (10-5 MMA, 1-2 BMMA); Alexander Sarnavskiy‘s (29-2 MMA, 5-2 BMMA) first-round submission of Dakota Cochrane (17-7 MMA, 0-1 BMMA); and Emiliano Sordi‘s (13-4 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) tapout of Bubba McDaniel (23-9 MMA, 1-1 BMMA).
