Bellator 110 Weigh-In Update: ‘Rampage,’ M’Pumbu, ‘King Mo,’ Zayats On Point

Bellator’s Season 10 light heavyweight tournament will move forward as planned, as all four participants were cleared to compete at Thursday’s Bellator 110 weigh-ins.

Though former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson checked in a half pound heavy on his first attempt, “Rampage” hit 206 pounds in his second try ahead of his headlining attraction opposite onetime Bellator king Christian M’Pumbu, who tipped the scales at 199.75 pounds.

Meanwhile, ex-Strikeforce king Muhammed Lawal (205) was cleared for his semifinal clash with Mikhail Zayats (205), which will serve as the Bellator 110 co-headliner from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

The evening’s Spike TV-broadcast main draw will also feature the opening round of the eight-man featherweight draw, as UFC alum Diego Nunes (144.25) takes on Matt Bessette (145.25) and two-time tournament vet Mike Richman (144.75) collides with Desmond Green (145.75).

Brazilian prospect Goiti Yamauchi (145.25) will open the evening’s televised broadcast, when the 21-year-old collides with Will Martinez (144.75). Just prior, former M-1 Global lightweight champion Daniel Weichel (145.25) will close out the Spike.com-streamed prelims, as “The Weasel” takes on Scott Cleave (145) to kick off the 145-pound tourney.
