It will be a quick turn around for Anthony Njokuani fresh off his last win at UFC 145 as he will return to action at UFC on Fuel 4 in July against a familiar opponent.
The Las Vegas based striker will take on British competitor Paul Taylor at the July 11 card rumored for San Jose, Calif.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Friday. Fighter’s Only first reported the match-up.
Njokuani and Taylor were actually first matched up at UFC 138 in England last year, but Taylor was in an unfortunate auto accident the week of the fight, and due to injuries sustained had to pull out of the contest.
Njokuani was subsequently pulled from the card as well.
Now, Njokuani and Taylor will try to do it all over again as they meet on July 11 at UFC on Fuel 4.
The fight will mark Taylor’s first bout in over a year. The British heavy hitter last fought at UFC 126 in Feb 2011 when he knocked out Gabe Ruediger with a head kick, marking his 4th win in the Octagon.
