WARNING: This video contains graphic content, viewer discretion is advised. MMA is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. But horrific incidences like this one remind us how the entertainment aspect of MMA is growing so much faster than the educational aspect. In this Gracie Breakdown, Ryron and Rener analyze the fight video and attempt to explain how dangerous it is when young people attempt to use the techniques they see in professional MMA without having any formal training in the physiological effects and the dangers associated with the techniques. They also teach several techniques that are absolutely essential for street fight survival, but are not commonly taught in the sport jiu-jitsu schools. If any one of the three people involved in the incident were a student of jiu-jitsu, things would have been drastically different. Please share this video. If we prevent one fight, or save one life, it was worth it. To watch the full length fight video in which the boy dies
