Demian Maia showed much improved stand-up in his last fight against Mark Munoz, but wasn't able to come out on top with a win.

So he felt the pressure going into his fight at UFC 136 against Jorge Santiago to go out and win, and show just how well rounded he was.

Maia mixed his stand-up and his takedowns to put Santiago in uncomfortable positions all night long, and came away witha unanimous decision victory.
