Ask just about any rising striker in America who their influence was coming up, and they'll often say Kevin Ross. Kevin was 23 years old on a downward spiral in life. He always wanted to be a fighter... but he didn't believe in himself. One of his friends did and Kevin made a promise to him that he'd become a fighter. When his friend passed, Kevin eventually made good on his promise. He lost his first fight in a dramatic fashion, but rose like a phoenix in the successive years, becoming one of the greatest striking legends in American history. In America, he is like Ramon Dekkers. He would fight anyone and always made sure to give it his all. Kevin stood with some of the best Thai fighters of his time, and he was one of the first to do so. His late start, exciting fights and mindset made him a fan favorite, inspiring the next generation to pursue their dreams. Has he inspired you in anyway? Let me know. Make sure to check out his book "Dancing with Saenchai." -------------
