REBEL FC 2: Battle Royale on 1 August 2014 at Suntec Singapore served up a memorable night of entertaining and adrenaline fuelled bouts, climaxing in our eight-man KO featherweight tournament on the Main Card which saw three prestigious quarter-finals with Bantamweight MMA legend and former WEC and UFC fighter Miguel Torres going up against DEEP Japanese Champion Takahiro Ashida; former UFC fighter Will Chope squaring off against Brazilian BJJ black belter Mauricio "Faccao" Dos Santos Junior and former ZST Japanese Champion Yojiro Uchimura facing off against URCC Filipino Champion Reydon "Red" Romero. The second fight of the night, Kenny Yeung from Hong Kong, China took on Brazilian Capoeira-cum-Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu exponent Silvio Romero Da Silva in a fascinating match-up of different styles. While Kenny prefers the stand-up game, his ground game was more than a handful for Silvio, a BJJ specialist.
