This is the first in a four part series (1 of 4) that shows a basic shoulder lock from Kesa. This can be a very tight submission and a popular choice among Judo players or people who enjoy this position. Trapping the arm can be difficult so in this video I go over an entry into this position and then in the future videos I go over some options if catching the wrist becomes a problem. Make sure that you're careful with this position as the pressure on the shoulder can come on quickly with a lot of intensity.
