A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Marcus Aurelio, Strikeforce lightweight Jorge Gurgel is the master of exciting fights, but doesn't always make it easy on himself to win. Back in March he submitted his opponent in only :44 seconds, but afterwards he was almost disappointed because he had no marks on his face and ended the night before he really felt he had the chance to fight.
Now after reflecting ont he win, Gurgel knows that maybe winning smart and strategically will give him more wins and better career longevity. He'll try to employ that ideology when he faces Joe Duarte at Strikeforce Challengers on Aug 12 in Las Vegas. For more news check out http://www.MMAWeekly.com
