UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones reacts to his unanimous decision victory over Anthony Smith at UFC 235, saying he feels good about his performance, but wanted to finish the fight. Jones gives a lot of credit to Smith and cites that the “Lionheart” was the most experienced fighter he has faced. Jones iterates that his illegal knee in the fourth round was “totally unintentional” and praises Smith for continuing the fight (1:19). In terms of when he will fight again, Jones needs to sit down with his coaches and get back in the gym (3:04). Jones says he is still interested in a fight vs. Brock Lesnar because it will be “extremely high risk and extremely high reward,” and thinks no one would be able to bring in the numbers like they would (6:01). Jones, when asked about fellow light heavyweight Johnny Walker’s knockout, says that he didn’t get to see any of the early fights but is excited for the future of his division (11:33).
