Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir spoke to me on Friday on my radio show about his issues with the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). In response to how they've handled the cases of Jon Jones or Grant Dawson and other UFC fighters, Mir is mystified by his assertion that USADA's exaggerated the extent to which they understood the science behind oral Turinabol, its M3 metabolites, how they can be detected in the body and for how long. Due to their previous unwillingness to admit any wrongdoing or limited understanding, he alleges he was unable to seek proper remedies like arbitration or find a clear detection window for when substances entered his body. Worse, the announcement of the positive findings before any due diligence was done, he says, badly harmed his fighting career and has continued to plague him now at Bellator MMA. In this interview from my radio show, we dig into these issues and more. -- MERCH: https://teespring.com/stores/luke-thomas-store -- RADIO: The
