Following in the footsteps of his big brother, Omar Figueroa stepped into the ring against experienced Fatiou Fassinou on July 15, 2017 on PBC on FS1. Brandon Figuero has a high KO percentage (13-0, 8KOs) but it would take more then a knockout for him to get past Fassinou. Using his speed and length to his advantage, he invested early punishment to Fassinou's body. Fassinou slowed in the later rounds but his style was still awkward and unpredictable, giving Brandon fewer chances to finish the fight as he wanted. Regardless, Brandon capitalized as his opponenet slowed. Pinning him in the corners, he would unleash a storm of combinations, crushing Fassinou's hope of catching up any point on the cards.
