Post Training. Although, often times we are left looking seriously rough, I love these combat sports and all the discipline and sacrifice that goes in to them. Even on a successful day, I deal with ripped out, broken uneven hair... mat burn on the knees, face and elbows... sore windpipe and neck from drilling chokes and defenses... twisted toes and fingers from jams and grabs... (I swear I’d rather get punched in the face than have a pissed off little toe or finger that refuses to heal for months ??). It’s rarely glamorous. But the confidence in having the skills, defense and experience are worth everything rough about it. What do you do and what are some of your occupational hazards? #bjj #mma #nazareth
