Marcus Browne faced off with Radivoje Kalajdzic on the Algieri vs Spence undercard on PBC on NBC Saturday, April 16th. The bout went to decision and had its share of knockdowns in a contested match. Light heavyweight Marcus Browne (18-0, 13 KOs) scored a first-round knockdown that was argued by Kalajdzic after the fight. He claims he slipped and was punched while he was down which should have taken a point away from Browne, at the minimum. The southpaw Marcus Browne had to rise after hitting the canvas in the sixth round in a tougher than expected eight-round match. Browne won the match by unanimous decision over 24-year-old Bosnian-born Radivoje Kalajdzic (21-1, 14 KOs) at Barclays Center on Saturday.
