Immanuwel Aleem and Hugo Centeno Jr. faced off against each other Friday night in Miami, OK on Friday August 25 on PBC on FS1.
Both prospects had near unblemished records, with Aleem having one tie and Centeno Jr. having one loss on his record. Both fighters were looking to make a statement against solid competition tonight.
In RD1 Aleem was the aggressor. Throwing combinations and finding his mark with his jab, he was able to find his target and connect with ease. As RD2 started, Aleem continued to press but Centeno Jr. was able to find his distance, thus tagging his opponent. With 24 seconds left in the round, one of Centeno Jr.'s punches landed, causing Aleem's mouthpiece to come out and left him temporarily stunned.
