Friday’s XFC 26 event confirmed two things: Luis Santos can knock out XFC opponents in remarkably quick fashion, and yes, female groin shots can hurt like hell.
The AXS TV-televised XFC 26 took place at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Tennessee, and in the headliner, Scott Holtzman (6-0) retained his lightweight title with a dominant decision victory over Roger Carroll (13-10).
However, some big moments took place earlier in the night.
For example, welterweight Luis Santos (58-9-1) has now defeated three XFC opponents in an average time of 35 seconds each following “Sapo’s” 33-second dismantling of Justin Davis (13-12), which included an absolutely beautiful knockdown via head kick.
Additionally, the women proved that painful groin shots aren’t limited to men as Cortney Casey (1-1) took a knee to the pelvic bone during a title loss to Pearl Gonzalez (2-1), who claimed the organization’s vacant women’s flyweight title. Casey argued to the Tennessee Athletic Commission to no avail.
