Check out the official 11-bout lineup for next week’s UFC year-ender: UFC 219.
“UFC 219: Cyborg vs. Holm” takes place Dec. 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and the main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
The final addition to the card also kicks off the event; in the UFC Fight Pass-streamed curtain-jerker, former flyweight title challenger and “The Ultimate Fighter 24” champion Tim Elliott (14-8-1 MMA, 3-6 UFC) takes on promotional newcomer Mark De La Rosa (9-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC).
Elliott, who was forced off the recent UFC on FOX 26 card after opponent Pietro Menga didn’t weigh in, announced the De La Rosa fight earlier this week. UFC executives recently made it official, and it completes the year-end PPV lineup.
UFC 219 also features women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg (18-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) vs. ex-bantamweight titleholder Holly Holm (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) in the 145-pound championship headliner. Additionally, Khabib Nurmagomedov (24-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC), who’s No. 5 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA lightweight rankings, takes on No. 6-ranked Edson Barboza (19-4 MMA, 13-4).
An extended video preview of the event is available above.
