John Lineker scored a split-decision victory over John Dodson at UFC Fight Night 96 on Saturday in Portland, Ore., but received a longer suspension than his foe.
Still, Lineker’s suspension wasn’t all that lengthy, clocking in at 30 days. Dodson received the minimum 7-day rest period.

The only potentially significant suspension was issued to Will Brooks. After his loss to Alex Oliveira, Brooks posted on social media, saying that he believed he broke a rib in the first round of their fight. He was suspended indefinitely, pending medical clearance.
The Oregon State Athletic Commission released the UFC Fight Night 96: Lineker vs. Dodson medical suspensions on Monday. The event took place on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Moda Center.
