On Tuesday, prominent politicians, prominent combat sports promotions and a prominent medical center will team up to study brain injuries.
U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), along with representatives from the UFC, Bellator, GLORY, Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank Boxing, will introduce new funding and support for research into brain trauma in association with the Cleveland Clinic.

The presentation is expected to feature UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, as well as light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his next opponent, Glover Teixeira, as well as McCain, Reid and Cleveland Clinic officials.
