Jamie Varner vs. Shane Roller
Varner comes out quickly. He is taking the fight to Roller. Varner visibly excited to be in front of his home crowd here in Arizona. Roller is feeling Varner out, waiting patiently. Roller is not attempting any takedowns but lands a couple direct strikes to Varner’s head. Varner now answers back with a solid high leg kick. Varner lands a solid punch on Roller knocking him to the ground. Varner follows in and Roller jumps up and takes his back. Varner looks to be in trouble with Roller on his back. Varner standing now with Roller on his back, slams down to the ground, landing on top of Roller’s head and shoulder. Roller holds on through the takedown. He manages to keep Varner’s back through the takedown. Roller then locks in the Rear Naked Choke to force the tap by Varner.
