We've seen some crazy things over the years.
Broken shins, lacerated foreheads, illegal groin shots, post-fight staredowns and unprecedented performances have graced mixed martial arts cages from every corner of the earth.
But when a mom scales a chain-link fence to protest her son's defeat, the MMA world might not know how to handle it.
The video featured above, with compliments to fighter Caleb Frasher's Youtube channel, shows exactly that, as Joe Fisher's mom scales the entire cage to tend to her son after Frasher choked him out at OFC 20: March Massacre II in Columbus, Ohio, this past weekend.
I don't know if it's worse to get submitted early in the first round or have your mom jump inside the cage in your defense, but this is truly a first.
The authorities did escort her out of the cage as the medical team took care of Fisher, but it remains unbelievable that a mom could rush the cage, pole vault over the top and verbally attack the referee to argue on her unconscious son's behalf.
In any case, this is one of the weirdest MMA videos you'll ever see and something that will probably never happen again because it's so unfathomable and daring that no sane mother from here on out would attempt it.
Extra measures should be taken to keep anybody not permitted to be inside the cage from actually getting inside of it. Not to mention you need to be a certain kind of crazy to do anything remotely close to this.
I guess a mother's love truly is boundless.
