Video: Watch UFC Fight Night 47's Tim Boetsch make a remarkable UFC debut

Although Tim Boetsch has become a veteran presence on the UFC roster, it’s easy to forget what a splash he made in his octagon debut – on just 10 days’ notice.

Back in 2008 at UFC 81 (the same card that featured Brock Lesnar’s UFC debut), Boetsch replaced injured Tomasz Drwal and met four-fight UFC vet Heath.

Check out the above video as Boetsch clearly surprises the UFC commentators and then scores a memorable first-round stoppage.
