LAS VEGAS – B.J. Penn admits he’s had the “weirdest” MMA career over the years, but now returning from a 19-month layoff, he doesn’t seem eager to end it any time soon.
Following the official weigh-ins for tonight’s The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale, where the former lightweight and welterweight champion drops to featherweight for a FOX Sports 1-televised headliner with Frankie Edgar (16-4-1 MMA, 10-4-1 UFC), Penn (16-9-2 MMA, 12-8-2 UFC) spoke to MMAjunkie Radio’s George Garcia about his return and his plans for the immediate future.
And the 35-year-old Penn has rarely been in such good spirits.
Check out the above video as the MMA legend and fan favorite discusses the past, present and future, including the possibility for at least three more fights.
