Video: Legacy FC signee Michelle Nicolini dislocates opponent's elbow

Legacy FC recently added undefeated grappler Michelle Nicolini to its roster. Her jiu-jitsu prowess was on display over the weekend.

Legacy FC promoter Mick Maynard, whose organization has produced a number of UFC additions, told MMAjunkie that he recently signed Nicolini (2-0) to a multi-fight deal with a planned promotional debut later this year.

Maynard raved about the Robert Drysdale black belt’s grappling skills, which have resulted in multiple world jiu-jitsu titles. The 32-year-old Brazilian, who competed in MMA once in 2011 before a return to the cage earlier this year, took part in a grappling match at Sunday’s 2014 IBJJF World Championship finals, where she displayed some of her jiu-jitsu prowess in a gruesome way.

In the women’s featherweight final, Nicolini dislocated Tammi Musumeci’s elbow. Remarkably, Musumeci, who was up on points, refused to submit and got a standing ovation after she made it to the end of the match.

Check out the impressive performance above.
