Video: Legacy FC 26 highlights, Leonard Garcia’s title-fight TKO victory

Leonard Garcia won his third straight fight since the UFC cut him loose, and he won a title in doing so. But is that enough to get him back to the world’s leading promotion?

Garcia stopped Kevin Aguilar about three minutes into the first round to win the vacant Legacy Fighting Championship featherweight title on Friday night at Legacy FC 26. Garcia, in his post-fight interview, called for a return to the UFC. But if it’s in the cards for him to stick around his home state of Texas to defend his new belt, he will.

Garcia drilled Aguilar with a right hand that put him on the canvas before diving in to pound him out with punches. Check out that bout and the other highlights from the event, which aired on AXS TV from Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio.

Other bouts included Thomas Almeida‘s first-round TKO of George Pacurariu and Chris Pecero‘s win over Raynaldo Rodriguez in the first round courtesy of elbows.
