Video: Hardy, Gooden break down UFC 205's jam-packed preliminary card in New York

On Saturday, the UFC touches down at Madison Square Garden for the first time – finally breaking through for a return to New York.

Ahead of UFC 205, UFC Fight Pass analyst Dan Hardy and broadcast partner John Gooden break down the matchups on the preliminary card – which is as packed as some events’ main cards – as part of the UFC’s “Inside the Octagon” preview series.

Hardy and Gooden break down the featherweight fight between former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (20-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC) and Jeremy Stephens (25-12 MMA, 12-11 UFC) and the crucial lightweight fight between Michael Johnson (17-10 MMA, 9-6 UFC) and the unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov (23-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC).

UFC 205 takes place Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and the main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
