Saturday’s UFC return to London features a middleweight bout that in some ways is hard to believe hasn’t happened already.
Michael Bisping (27-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC) has 24 career UFC fights, and former longtime middleweight champion Anderson Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC) has 18 UFC bouts on his resume. So if it seems like “The Count” and the “Spider” have been close to colliding for years now, it’s of no surprise.
On Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84 at The O2 in London, it finally will happen. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass, and ahead of the event, UFC Fight Pass analyst Dan Hardy and broadcast partner John Gooden break down the main event in an all-new “UFC Breakdown.”
They also take a look at the co-main event middleweight bout between Thales Leites (25-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) and Gegard Mousasi (37-6-2 MMA, 4-3 UFC); welterweights Tom Breese (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Keita Nakamura (31-6-2 MMA, 1-3 UFC); and Brad Pickett (24-1 MMA, 4-6 UFC) vs. Francisco Rivera (11-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC) in a bantamweight bout.
